Transportation facilities

1. road

Since the city planning road was decided in 1930, partial changes have been made in response to changes in the development of the city and changes in economic conditions, etc. At the same time, in the suburbs, along with the promotion of road maintenance through land readjustment projects, the maintenance of major trunk lines in urban areas has been promoted as a priority project of the city.
In addition, responses such as Hokuriku Expressway, National Route 8 bypass, Railway Taka Reconstruction of Kanazawa University, etc., and reexamination based on land use have been added one by one. Currently (R3.3.31), 145 city planning roads , Extended 303.67km has been decided.
In addition, based on the comprehensive transportation system survey conducted in 1974, 1984, 1995 and 2007, respectively, a comprehensive transportation plan was integrated with a transportation plan due to changes in future urban transportation patterns and a land use plan corresponding to the preservation of the living environment. We have established a system and are working to improve facilities based on this.
